It’s not simply a matter of these cons “disagreeing” with Obama, it’s about being honest in their attacks. Which the right infrequently is.

McCain Campaign Deploys ‘Palin Truth Squad’
There are truth squads and then there are truth squads, Oliver. McCain is employing a squadron of politicians to dispel untrue rumors about Sarah Palin, of which there are many. The Obama campaign is asking law enforcement, prosecutors and sheriffs, to target anyone who ‘lies’ or runs misleading TV ads during the presidential campaign.
You be the judge of which of these is the more severe method of getting out the truth.
Maybe this is just me, but I’m going to guess that prosecutors and sheriffs’ ideas of what me considered a lie and what they might do about it might be a just a little more intimidating than what a politician might do about the same thing.
