Re O’Connell: I thought he was alright as lunk-headed Cush in Jerry Maguire.
Re: Diesel.
What the hell are they selling?
Re: Starship Troopers 3
Was there a Starship Troopers 2 ?!
If either of the sequels were directed by Paul Verhoeven I am totally bumping these to the top of my netflix queue!!
There are two DTV sequels, Verhoeven was no more involved in those than Heinlein was.
Regarding Halle Berry’s reading– I had a hunch this was research for a role, and sure enough, coming in 2009:
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1221208/
Frankie and Alice: A drama centered on a young woman with multiple personality disorder who struggles to remain her true self and not give in to her racist alter-personality.
Berry plays both Frankie and Alice.
RE: Jerry O’Connell. Do Not Disturb seems pretty lame. But other than Sliders and Stand By Me, I would recommend Kangaroo Jack, that movie was hilarious with he and Anthony Anderson!
