Hah! This is the best day evah! Meknows McFalin got played today and their camp has omelets on their faces (cheese, anyone?) and have only 2 non-choices: pres. debates at Ole Miss. & vp debates w/ Joey and … what her name? I have never laughed so hard as when I saw the whole coverage and realized that they just got it good! Hah! What happened today to them is so far better than a good old novel. THINK ABOUT IT! Think Palace politics, as in King Henry VIII. Sorry, couldn’t resist the Henry part (Time cover of Paulson). So, who gets the head chop tomorrow, eh?

think on this. she had even MORE TIME to cram the soundbites into her feeble mind. She’s not doing events. She sure in hell isn’t doing press conferences.
that’s why I disagree with anyone who says that this is better than the Gibson ‘interview’. it’s worse because she had more time. There simply is no ‘THERE’ THERE.

She IS as bad as we thought she was.

They did all of this maneuvering because they wanted to cancel the VP debate.

McCain’s throwing it. It’s what I first predicted when he picked Palin. He needs to make a credible showing, but he’s acting like a guy trying to throw the election credibly, not one who’s trying to attack Obama and make him look weak or incompetent.

There’s no “crisis”; there a potentially very serious problem. If they put this off until the next Congress, no big deal, the markets can hold out and not “freak.” Not that I want this bailout period, but you know, if. McCain should be pounding Obama into the ground and his VP should be decking both Biden and Obama. But no. He wants to retire, heal as much as he can heal, enjoy the sun, get paid $50,000 for a 3 hour speech, maybe a little action on the side. So he didn’t pick Romney the number cruncher, and tell the theocratic right to go die while scooping chamber of commerce moderates in much greater numbers. He picks a KNOWN train wreck, or was depravedly indifferent to her trainwreckitude. Why? Because it’s all about the grandchildren and the pools in the Arizona desert and the houses and the cars and the speaking fees. And possibly his health, from appearances.

I will never be humiliated or embarrassed for Sarah Palin because she could have blinked and said no when McCain came a calling for a running mate.

But due to some crazy quirk, this woefully underqualified individual said ‘Sure’ to be the Republican VP nominee.
