I don’t think Obama will win North Carolina, I don’t even have it in my list of top 10 battleground states. However, Obama should be close enough here to force McCain to spend time and money defending this state. This will help Obama in other states, while the competitive nature could help the Democratic turn-out enough to push Hagan over the top vs. Dole.
I was there. It was incredible
“I don’t think Obama will win North Carolina…”
He probably won’t. A guy can dream, though (sighs).
If Obama wins in North Carolina, Obama will win the White House with 375 EC votes, at least that’s my prediction.
It could happen. It’s not likely, but it could.
70,000
Whoa.
Also the caveat of North Carolina having a very unfortunate past. Just ask Senator Gantt.
Dennis
70,000
Whoa.
…………………..
Good for Gov. Palin. But bad for McCain if he can’t draw that many on his own. After all McCain is on top of the ticket right?!
“70,000
Whoa.”
Too bad her net approval rating is plummeting, or that would mean something.
The number 70,000 refers to the total number of residents. The fire chief in the article estimated a turnout of 60,000.
Actually the number was 25,000 not 60,000
Wow, a whole lotta concernin’ goin’ on here over a routine Sarah Palin campaign stop.
Inexcusably off-topic, I know, but does anybody remember the poll on foreigners’ preferences in our presidential election? Something like Obama 65%, McCain 13%, but it got only passing mention on TV. Must have been recorded on the web.
Actually, I’m more concerned that Obama will be left stranded in the debates without teleprompters
“Wow, a whole lotta concernin’ goin’ on here over a routine Sarah Palin campaign stop.”
You say something that is wrong, people will tens to correct you.
I didn’t know Diebold also provides estimates of crowd size.
