    Picking Palin for running mate only trumps Biden in the sense that constant lying grabs more media coverage than the occasional gaffe.

    You’re exactly right, essrog. As long as no one cares about qualifications, knowledge, experience, intelligence, etc… Of course, I think President Bush demonstrates that none of those things are important to the American people. Let’s hope Obama stays “beer-worthy” enough to win.
