John McCain: Like The Way The Banks Are Going? Lets Do It To Health Care!

Via Paul Krugman, comes this awesome bit of wisdom from MaverickTM in the current issue of Contingencies magazine.

Opening up the health insurance market to more vigorous nationwide competition, as we have done over the last decade in banking, would provide more choices of innovative products less burdened by the worst excesses of state-based regulation.

That’s right kids, just like he wants to privatize social security in order for the retirement of seniors to be subjected to the gyrations we’ve seen on Wall Street, John McCain thinks we ought to make the health care system even worse by imitating the banking meltdown.

Up next: John McCain on how rapists make great schoolteachers.

As a friend of mine (Cori M.) says: Really? Really John McCain? Really?

He did attack Obama for supporting the Stranger Danger program, so he could be pro-Child Molestation.

Palin seems to back that up, as she claims she fired the Safety guy in Alaska for spending too much time trying to stop sex predators from going after kids.

John McCain spent the last 26 years enabling the “risk-takers” who are responsible for this crisis. If we can establish this in the public mind we win.
Those of you who are smarter than I (that’s most of you), please tell me how.

If you had any evidence that I was wrong, you would have given it.

I’m right, and you support a candidate that seems to think educating kindergarten students about the dangers of pedophiles is a bad idea.

    Pedophiles for McCain!

In a sane world a lot of this should come out in the debates. I love to imagine McCain trying to grapple with questions about his health care proposals, erstwhile support of privatizing social security, etc.

Why am I skeptical the questions will never be asked?

but Barack Obama may or may not have spoken to the guy who resigned from Fannie Mae years ago, so that makes Obama a terrorist.
    Or something.

Me: “If you had any evidence that I was wrong, you would have given it.”

A day and a half later, and still nothing. And you’ve posted in other threads, so you can’t claim you just haven’t been around to respond.

So I guess this is you admitting you lied.
