The Republican Party is in a state of fear not because Barack Obama is leading in the polls but because they did not have a prettier girl to bring to the dance. The most powerful political party in the WORLD could not muster up a better ticket then McCain/Palin; what a joke. While the absence of Bill Clinton is very noticeable on the Democratic side it is no where near as damaging as the stain of George Bush on the Republican side. The fear in the party is manifesting itself with such ugly words by the right wing radio whores. They are at the point of making preemptive concessionary statements such as; “black America is only voting for Obama because they THINK he is black; HE”S not BLACK he is a MULATTO”. Tell that to the people of South Africa who suffered Apartheid for over 45 years. These types of statements serve to announce defeat, but no way defeat by a BLACK MAN.

If Obama wins the election on Nov 4th, the sun will come up November 5th and just maybe the right and the left will get together and try to fix the mess we all are in.

I believe the conservative republicans are LIARS, TRAITORS And CHEATERS . The following is all they care about: (1) Corporate Welfare, (2) Tax Evasion, (3) War, (4) Oil, (5) Unbrideled Power, (6) The Destruction Of The Environment, (7) The Enslaving Of The Working Class, (8) Spying on, and ILLEGAL survallence of innocent American citizens, (9) Immunity for law breaking friends, corporations and co-workers, (10) Lying to get what they want, (11) Cheating the American taxpayers to line their own pockets, (12) Stealing from the Poor, Working Poor and Middle Class and giving the ILLEGAL BOUNTY to the FILTHY RICH!!, (13) GUNS (Weapons OF MASS DESTRUCION, DESIGNED TO ONLY KILL PEOPLE), (14) GOD (But only THEIR GOD), AND (15) Gays( THAT IS THE BASHING AND KILLING OF GAYS!)

Bush, Cheney, Rove and their CABAL have been using the Constitution and The Bill Of Rights for Toilet Paper. Bush, Cheney, Rove, Libby and Rumsfeld, among others should be serving lengthy jail terms. It’s unbelievable how many laws they have broken. And the spineless Pelosi and Reid have given them a free pass. This is, in my opinion, because Pelosi and Reid have no spine, just whine!

McCain, Rove and the rest of the republicans should be ashamed of themselves. After all, the mess this country is in is mostly his and their fault. (Pelosi and Reid SHARE SOME BLAME TOO!!) After all, he has voted with THE WAR PRESIDENT 90% of the time.

Facts do not lie, and the facts are not on the side of McCain’s and the republican’s side. In fact, McCain and his partners in the House and Senate would not know a fact if it bit them on the butt. If the facts do not support their talking points and policies, then they just lie and make them up.

I believe in the promise Mr. Obama offers The Middle Class and Working Poor. God only knows someone has to look out for us!! He has many good proposals that would help this segmant of society, which has been completely ignored by McCain, THE WAR PRESIDENT, and the lying, cheating republicans.

When Mr. Obama moves into The White House, He must reform the entire government to better serve ALL Americans, not just the rich.

Apparently there’s a poll coming out tomorrow showing Obama down by five points, in West Virginia. That certainly bodes well for his chances in Virginia.

“Firstly, Obama has been polling a couple of points ahead of our trendline for the past couple days.”

They say he has only a 33% chance at winning Virginia, but they also say that Obama has been out-polling those numbers, so it is likely closer.

I live in Virginia. Obama has a large effort here, especially in northern Virginia where he has to win big to win the state. Although I have noticed (and it’s driving me nuts) that I’m seeing tons of McCain TV ads and no Obama ads. I’ve seen McCain’s “Original Mavericks” ad half a dozen times. We all agree that Mark Warner is going to easily win election to the senate, right?

So, how many people do you think are going to vote for John McCain, then for Mark Warner?

My guess is that thanks to Mark Warner, Sen. Obama will win VA. We Marylanders keep moving over there and that’s changing the state… FROM THE INSIDE!

538.com puts the odds of Obama taking Virginia at about 2 to 1. The experiences to be gained from the exercise will be worth the effort for those volunteers though… meeting new people, communications skills, resume padding, seeing democracy in action, cool t-shirts, etc.

But I think the news about VA that Ms. O’Connell may have misinterpreted, was that Obama’s polling trend line was shaping up like the northern border of Virginia; not that he could possibly win there.
