    The rantings of a kept man

    The thing I notice is that he says the words, and has said the words, and each and every time he couldn’t get them out right.

    A lousy liar can only make a lousy leader. Haven’t we had enough of that?

    The fundamentals are strong? We’re beyond a recession at this point.

    But as the saying goes “It’s ok when we do it”. Translated that can also mean, “if we do not tell you, it isn’t happening”.

    He is so ineffective it isn’t funny. He has no ground with the common man. Like Bush I wouldn’t want to have a beer with him. I prefer to have beers with people I like or who’s company I would enjoy.

    At any rate I want my leader sober and not punch drunk on meds keeping him alive.

    Oh that was mean spirited. I must remember to write that down.

  3. Sean D. Martin says:

    Mr McCain, you’ve many times said that the fundamentals of our economy are strong. What, exactly, in your mind are “the fundamentals” of our economy?

    (Seriously, he’s into deeply, deeply regurgitate-a-familiar-phrase mode. Whenever anyone does that they clearly aren’t thinking anymore (if they ever were) about what they are saying and what it is supposed to mean. And they should then be asked, exactly what they do mean.)

    That one’s easy Sean:

    * Still have seven houses? Check!
    * Still have wife’s credit cards? Check!
    * Still receiving disability? Check!
    * Still have at least 40% of the country who will vote for me? Check!

    Looks peachy from this vantage point!
