Things We Know About The Redskins After 2 Games (1-1)

* Jason Campbell needs to commit to passing quicker or just running with the ball. He’s holding on too long.
* The defense is pretty good. Not awesome. But good.
* The offense needs a lot of work. I still don’t know if its the players or the coaching to blame. But it needs fine tuning.
* My kingdom for a kicker and a punter who doesn’t make me squeamish.
* I think Santana Moss from 2 years ago is back.
* More like that fourth quarter please, thanks.

You forgot, “Colt Brennan is a hottie.”
There’s entirely too much ‘game-managing’ going on. Just give Jason the effing ball and let him try to win it for you.
Call me foolish, but i am a believer in Jason Campbell. Hopefully this game will give others some hope as well.
Please explain to me again why a classic drop back, a bit lumbering passer is called on to run a West Coast Offense? And who goes with a WCO from scratch anyway? Nice W though. Skins endeavored to persevere through some adversity. Good times.
Yeah, I will never understand coaches who come in with a system and try to shoehorn personnel in. Just go with what works for your guy, as you guys noted, it’s kind of damning that the biggest play of the day was a QB audible.
And what’s wrong with being lumbering in that offense? Why can’t leadfeet run the west coast? Montana? Brett Favre (during the Holmgren years)? Brad Johnson during the Tampa Bay Years?
Quick recognition (to which OW alluded) is much more important than quick feet in that offense.

No NFL team fan has *ever* not worried when the kickers come out. Even if you’ve got a good one the announcers will say “here comes Mr Automatic” or “he’s made 14 straight from this distance or less” and boom.
Shorter OW: The Giants are going to beat us like baby seals.
The kid has a gun, and good timing. Thank God he’s now in an appropriate offense for his skill set.
They lucked out because the Saints have awful play calling. It should have been Reggie right, Reggie left, Reggie up the middle, swing pass to Reggie… instead you got, Brees hitting linemen in the helmet and then getting picked off…
