Hume also wrote for the very right-wing American Spectator during one of it’s kookiest periods.

The article linked above was about Fox News getting great ratings for the RNC convention. It isn’t surprising. Here in the DC area a lot of people tune in to Sonny Jurgenson and Sam Huff on the radio when they’re doing Redskins games. Why? Because you like to hear the announcers who are in the tank for the home team.

    Don’t forget that Brit said on FNS this week “I don’t think American’s care a fig about asking Sarah Palin questions”. It’s stunning, yet not that surprising. HE doesn’t care – he thinks she is a boon and a blessing and so he himself couldn’t give a fig what she thinks – he figures she’ll just keep looking purdy up there and people will be so bedazzled they’ll vote for the grumpy old man.

    His disdain for all of us – and I mean every single person on the planet – is so patently obvious it’s beyond absurd. His arrogance is second to none – I don’t know how the rest of the panel on FNS stands sitting there with him pontificating while dismissing every comment anyone else makes – it’s so clear that he thinks the other panel commentators – whomever they may be – are complete idiots, and it’s not as though they haven’t got some egos of their own. I just don’t get it.
