McCain Is No Maverick
Tweet
Somebody calls someone out for lying in a political ad from a Democrat. It’s about freaking time.
UPDATE: Josh Marshall does the work.

OH SNAP!
Solid – no sugar-coating, no apologizing.
McCain No Maverick – Excellent. Keep lining up his lobbyists and lies.
But the second video was fine until that laughter at the end. I would have expected that kind of laughter at the end of an Republican ad.
When Dems do things that just are them it doesn’t sound genuine. Kill that laughter at the end. Why not have women saying that just because she is a woman, she won’t fool them.
Sweet! That’s what I’m talking about Obama campaign, that’s what I’m talking about.
it’s crucial that the obama folks stay on this tack. obama waffles every time he gets the chance to do this himself and i think he’s mis-reading the public. nobody likes a wimp. if obama wants to remind george stepha-whatever-the-hell-his-name-is about his responsibilities he can do that. but obama needs to remember that these guys are all scared of getting accused by the republicans of liberal bias, so there are always limits as to what they’ll report.
You can argue that she was “for it before she was against it”, or that she flip-flopped on it, or that it doesn’t make her a reformer, or whatever you want. But the simple fact of the matter is that she did finally kill it.
All the retarded laughter in the world won’t change that fact.
Speaking of earmarks, I seem to recall that the hope and change candidate (“Change YOU can believe in”) himself snagged a $1 million earmark for the University of Chicago Hospital. The same place that employs his own wife as vice president of community affairs, and who raised her salary from $121,910 in 2004, just before he was elected to the Senate, to $316,962 in 2005, just after he took office.
Wow! A 150 percent pay raise in a year! Guess that $1 million dollar earmark was worth every penny.
