There’s a picture of a black man on the right side of the page at the top. He clearly has big lips. Actually, they’re VERY big. Is that racist? Not in any way shape or form. It’s a statement of fact about a physicaly characteristic. I think most of you are stuck in the past, unwilling to believe that the world isn’t pitted against you.

The middle of the 20th century? So 60 years ago then? So, because 60 years ago a cartoonish stereotype was popularly used, that means that anytime anyone says that a black man has large lips, he’s harkoning back to that cartoonish and racist caricature? I’m sorry, but that’s paranoia and obsession with imaginary racism.

Obama has large ears. He also has fairly large lips. BOTH are statements of fact, but somehow saying he has large ears is okay, but it’s racist to say he has large lips, because some racists 70 years ago stereotyped the lips in particular? Amazing logic. Keep living in your race-dominated world where evil lurks around every corner just waiting to beat you down with the stick of racism.

How did someone that frikken stupid get into a teacher’s college? He’s not even bright enough to differentiate between big ears and making that type of comment about a person of color. Kutztown University administrators need to pay more attention about the types of people they admit and to what those people are doing as students.
