But Seriously…

Obama responds to the Palin tirade.
Sen. Barack Obama dismissed the harsh criticism fired his way last night at the Republican convention as part of the problem in politics, asserting this afternoon, ‘At some point we’ve got to stop that and get serious.’
Speaking to a group of factory workers at a hydropower equipment plant, Obama refused to address Gov. Sarah Palin’s mocking assessment of his background and political rise. When a member of the audience asked him to weigh in on the resume issue, Obama responded, ‘I’ll let Governor Palin talk about her experience, I’ll talk about mine.’
But he rebuked the GOP in general for focusing almost exclusively on biography in St. Paul, Minn., and for attempting to redraw old partisan lines.
‘You wouldn’t know that this is such a critical election by watching the convention last night,’ said Obama. ‘I know we had our week, and the Republicans deserve theirs, but it’s been amazing to me to watch over the last two nights.’

Remember when everyone was excited that Biden was the pick because he was going to tear McCain a new one? But here we have Obama once again reacting to Palin (first having to compare his record to hers and now to defend himself).
Please tell me again how Palin is sure to be dropped from the ticket.
This is true strength in character. How refreshing that no matter how down and dirty, deep into the mud they want it to get, Obama is determined to run his own campaign Please Obama, run your own campaign. The Republican National Convention’s negatively is exhausting and depressive. Can’t wait for it to end. All those people cheering cheap shots and lies make me nervous, not about the election, but the hearts and souls of so many Americans.
I am so proud to be an Obama supporter. This is the first time I have voted in a primary and contributed anything to a politician.
Obama’s response to Palin and Republicans attacks is why I fully support him.
I gave my money, more than I can afford to give, because I believe that Obama can bring about a change that I can believe it and that change will benefit everyone, even the people who don’t respect him.
Matador Sarah using her John Birch Society “liberal media” cape to divert the white trash’s attention from their diminishing purchasing power from Bush’s weak dollar policy
Considering Palin spent her entire speech tearing into Obama and barely offering a lick of her unnerving political positions, I’d say that she was the one being “reactive.”
