Palin Got Dirty Ted Stevens Money

This sort of goes against the GOP/MSM insistence that Palin is a “maverick”.

GOP vice presidential pick Sarah Palin accepted at least $4,500 in campaign contributions in the same fundraising scheme at the center of a public corruption scandal that led to the indictment of Sen. Ted Stevens.

The contributions, made during Palin’s failed 2002 bid to become Alaska’s lieutenant governor, were not illegal for her to accept. But they show how Palin, a self-proclaimed champion for clean government, has been part of an Alaska political system that is now under the cloud of an ongoing FBI investigation.

    I agree with you on that, Frank, America does deserve Obama.

    I’ve not been happy with the crap the American government has done over the past 7 years, but the country deserves better than McCain / Palin.

    “Frequently wrong” implies both “more than once” and “often” …

    Looking at all the Elections — Congressional and Presidential — since 1968 , I would say it is the Democrats / Liberals who have been wrong “frequently”.

    Neither Governor Palin nor Senator McCain has spoken at the Convention yet …

    I say let’s where things stand around Columbus Day (the REAL one , on October 12 ) before we ask the Republicans to break down their tents and leave the field to the Obamassiah, mkay?

    Yes, because the real world we judge to validity of a political theory not how it works in the practice, but if it wins elections.
