Frank Luntz (I know) ran a focus group of swing voters in Minnesota and asked them about Sarah Palin. She did not poll well.

If Obama’s popularity is a drawback, then being UNpopular must be an asset. This is obviously excellent news for McCain!
Obama won’t know what hit him. McCain won’t know what to hit him WITH, now that inexperience and good looks are off the table.
I love the smell of wingnut desperation in the morning. It smells like…AHHHH!
Victory.

Apropos of nothing, for some reason your posting of “Sarah Palin” dredged up this old Alan Sherman song that I used to hear on Dr. Demento. Sarah Jackman, a conversation sung to the tune of Freres Jacques.
Perhaps someone can rewrite it, make it a bit less Jewish, and a bit more Fundamentalist Christian. And a whole lot more vicious.
Wow.
Independents can’t stand her either.
Sarah Palin! Sarah Palin!
WTF?? WTF??
All I can come up with off the top of my head right now…
And, it’s ALLAN Sherman.

Too bad this was buried on C-Span. On CNN (unedited!) it might have made a few people start thinking for themselves, make it OK to have doubts instead of dancing along with the mealy-mouthed pundits. On YouTube it’s basically preaching to the choir.
Let me fix that for you, Randy:
You really think there might be another?

Sorry Randy, for various reasons, I definitely should have respected the “ll” in Allan. Thanks for the correction.
“WTF” fits the meter very nicely indeed.

I agree. They are amazing in their stamina and stupidity. And if you like arguing on the internet, there’s no better place to go. Granted, you get more of them at Fark.com, but it’s not as intimate as it is here. You really get to know the trolls when you come to OW.com.
QiaB: You really think there might be another?
Yeah.
It was people from Minnesota – a mostly liberal state …
I’d like to know the political makeup of the group — but, of course, that would make the video clip useful…
Incidentally, my overall impression was that it was not all that unfavorable — obviously, one’s impression of Palin before viewing is important .
