Sarah Palin thinks that the founding fathers wrote the pledge of allegiance. Well, I guess considering all the other ways conservatives try to re-write history this is probably a virtue with them.

Great catch, Oliver! I’ll bet she learned her bad history while watching the second Bush inauguration, at which one of the speakers made this claim. Oh, and BTW, the pledge of allegiance was written by a socialist. (Gasp!)
