Never could see how he’s doing the Democrats any good. Marrying that Mary Matalin Magdeline like she was a saint or something and then besmirching the public airwaves with the world’s ugliest couple bantering on Meet the Press has lowered Carville’s carnival act to a lower mud flat than any catfish could float. He’s down there with the Finless Browns floating out of a Louisiana shanty town’s sewage pipe.

The other major difference is that James Carville doesn’t have a popular video game franchise named after him.

Classic. What a prick.

Check out Carville’s choice of footwear from yesterday. It should give you a hint to where his allegiances lie.

It’s a group of Republicans pretending to be jilted Democratic Hillary voters who are promising to vote for McCain. In other words, real live trolls.

I’m getting really tired of seeing posts all over Huffpo about “What Obama should do” or what Obama should have done.”
STFU, already. The guy knows what he’s doing.

First, it was obviously not appropriate for Kennedy or Michelle Obama to attack McCain on opening night. There were other things that needed to be done. And the source of an attack is often just as important as the attack itself.

Second, demands for more attacks, coming from several media-approved sources, and Carville is definitely media-approved, can lay a foundation for when the attacks actually come.

A suggestion: if the Big Dog wants to regain the respect and admiration among Democrats that he lost during the primaries, he will lead the attack on the Republicans and McCain. He has the speaking chops to pull it off.

Finally, as much as we would all love to hear non-stop shredding of Bush, McCain and Republicans, that is not necessarily what will work best for Obama. When the Republicans do it, they are speaking to their angry, ignorant and bigoted base voters. Those people respond to diatribes. The voters that Obama needs, and will likely get, do not respond to that kind of thing.

This doesn’t mean lay down and take it Kerry style, and there is no sign that Obama will do that. But it does mean that one does not rally the troops with anger.

That’s it, buddy, your 15 minutes are up.

Michelle Obama, on the other hand, put a belt-high fastball into the cheap seats.

No Perot, no Clinton era in all likelihood.

Also, if Carville wants to do something for democrats he should denounce rather than support Mary Matalin, who spews some pretty vile lies about Democrats (including publishing Corsi’s smear job). Matalin is probably hurting Obama way more than Carville could ever help him. But Carville’s concern-trolling is no help either.

I used to think Carville was a family man and gave him a pass on the Matalin stuff– but one has to believe that he is leaving at least part of the moral instruction of his children to a woman who casts septic lies and smears about decent honorable men. His kids are learning their ethics from that smear-artist.

Carville is only an insider to the Clinton camp and we all know what’s going on there – a lot of pouting and disbelief that they lost it. The Clintons and their great strategist Carville lost.
They marginalized Obama’s campaign and did even think of him as a threat and when they realized that he had an unsurmountable lead they couldn’t catch up even when they tried to destroy Obama’s qualifications and character. Carville is just pissed.

Instead of talking about Carville, the conversation should be about Michelle Obama’s amazing speech.
