Why do we never see Jay, Jay Tea, and j mccann on the same thread? Are they all the same guy? Same snarky tone, same benighted positions, same old-fsahioned insults (dolts, whiners, “the left”).Same refusal to engage when they’ve run out of talking points. Lose a war to win a political campaign? That’s not calling OBAMA a traitor. And the Real Obama? Doesn’t say that Obama is a liar and fake.

I’m sorry, but I do know what they really mean, and so do the voters, and so do you.
As for Iraq, now that we’re “winning”, what have we “won”? Will there be a liberal democracy in the heart of the Arab world, or a Shiite dictatorship that scares the crap out of its Sunni neighbors?Will we have a new ally, or will Iran have one? Will we have stability? A solution to the Palestinian-Israeli issue? Will we at least have low oil prices? No?
We sacrificed 1000 men to “succeed” with the Surge. And the LONG-TERM benefit to the US will be…what?

Do they use the words “He’s a traitor?” No. Do we know what they mean? Yes.

Oh here we go with the “I know what you really meant!!” Give me a freaking break already.

This is a tactic that Democrats have been using since 2002 to quell criticism over their policies and thankfully, nobody is buying it anymore (except for the left). They get criticized over foreign policy or national security policy and they start in whining, “Stop attacking my patriotism!!” Nobody is attacking anybody’s patriotism. People don’t get to spout off whatever it is the hell they want and get a free pass because some dolt thinks it is tantamount to questioning their patriotism or calling them a traitor.

As for what McCain said about Obama? Sorry, but it’s TRUE. He has tried to ride the wave of defeat in Iraq to the steps of the White House. All he (and his ads) has talked about is “ending” the war. Not winning the war. Just ending it, regardless of the circumstances. Of course, now that we’re winning and Obama has had to backtrack on the success of the surge, we don’t hear too much about Iraq anymore do we? No, the important issue to Obama has become how many houses John McCain has.

Ma said he has ESSENTIALLY called Obama a traitor. And he has. Just as Rove and Co. ESSENTIALLY called Kerry a traitor in 04. Do they use the words “He’s a traitor?” No. Do we know what they mean? Yes.
If saying someone is “willing to lose a war to win an election” is not tantamount to a treason accusation, what would be?
