Hmm. I like Joe Biden.
Could be a good attack dog. I actually am high on Montana’s governor. Wow! He would sling this stuff to the Republicans and is not a lefty. Totally fits changing our economy to alternative energy and points out how they could drill in his state and have some 9 billion barrels of oil.
uh, somehow I don’t think we’ll be hearing the phrase “not qualified to be President” falling from any Dem lips.
Really? Because John McCain, despite getting his incompetent ass shot down, and despite being held prisoner for 5 1/2 years, is NOT QUALIFIED to be president. He is of below average intelligence, showing signs of senile dementia, and has never had a non-government job (or the health care plan to go along with it). He seems to have only two tools in his toolbox: cut taxes for the already-wealthy, and wage war against anybody and everybody he doesn’t like. And don’t even get me started on his personal morality and lack of integrity.
It is my sincere hope that our low-information voters don’t, once again, award the presidency to a retarded frat boy who owes his whole career to family connections and plain dumb luck.
Well Bruce. After reading that well thought out and intelligently written comment, you’ve got me convinced!
Convinced more than ever we should institute some kind of testing for voters because knowing that you’ll get near a ballot box in November frightens the hell out of me.
Care to refute the points made, Jay? Or just hurl insults and sarcasm?
1. Below average intelligence? 894 out of 899 in his class. In a school he got into because of family connections.
2. Senile dementia? Roll the tape of his Sturgis appearance.
3.Never had a non-govenment job? I take that back. He spent six months in the private sector “working” for Cindy’s dad. After resigning from the Navy because he was passed over for promotion.
4.Tax cuts for the wealthy? Read his plan. By the way, he was against them before he was for them.
5.Wage war? “Bomb bomb bomb, bomb bomb Iran” “We are all Georgians” Is McCain going to fight the Russians now? Him and what army?
6.Personal morality? How and why did his first marriage end? I don’t care if it was 30 years ago. He was a 40 year old man who cheated on, then dumped, his first wife and family. And then the Keating Five episode.
I’m sure you would like to institute “some kind of testing for voters”, Jay. Maybe the kind that was done in Ohio in 2004 and Florida in 2000.
Oops, I guess using phrases like “his incompetent ass” and “retarded frat boy” does make my argument weaker. Sorry. So sue me. I stand by the rest of what I’ve written.
