O’Reilly has left-wingers on that show all the time. And they get a chance to state their point of view. What angers leftists is when he doesn’t let them dodge questions. He calls them out, and the left doesn’t like it.

You mean, he calls them out by saying “Shut up!” over and over again? Or does he call them out by threatening to kick their a$$es from the safety of his seat in the studio? Is it when he sends his ‘investigative reporters’ to their homes for gotcha journalamism with loaded questions? Or is it when he cuts their mike off and talks over them when they’re trying to make a point?

I think it would be relatively safe to say that there is a yawning chasm between the bias perceived in the mainstream media, depending on your political leanings. Funny how a bunch of people all see the exact same thing, and then there’s a bunch of differing reports of what exactly has been shown to each of them…

Unless he doesn’t count, because he doesn’t think GWB is an actual conservative.

I agree. Rush Limbaugh should have liberal viewpoints represented on his show.

But he’ll do the same to right wingers too. That’s why he’s got enemies on both sides, although I’ll admit, more on the left. But the guy is hardly a radical.

As for Maddow, I wouldn’t consider her a radical. And honestly, politics aside, she seems quite likeable on a personal level. She doesn’t come across as a miserable, angry, smug asshole like Olbermann does. But I would however consider her a committed partisan democrat, which in mine and many others’ opinion, makes three leftists in a row during prime time on MSNBC. That was the whole point. Other than Scarborough, you can’t find a conservative on that network…..none…..not one. FNC, as I’ve pointed out, does have left-wing personalities and contributors on a variety of issues. (And yes…geraldo with his amnesty proposal, pro-choice stance, universal health care desire, and in his own words, is a liberal)

And also, to the Olbermann fans…..

Is that man ever going to directly confront anyone that he has all these issues with, or is he going to continue to get lackeys to come on and agree with his every word? Honestly, has he ever had anyone on his show that has a differing point of view? Just once? Ever? He’s truly the least talented and most intellectually dishonest person to ever have a program on cable news, and a spineless sniping smartass to boot. What a chump. Get some balls Keith and have a showdown with all these horrible people you talk smack about on a nightly basis. Sheesh. Either that or go get laid or something.

Because of course they totally balance out two hours of liberal programming (I’ll take Olbermann and Maddow, but we’ll have to agree to disagree about Matthews) on one cable news station.

“Thrill up my leg Matthews” is a liberal to many, and has even been rumored to be considering a run for office as a democrat. That seems left to me. Nancy Grace…..again, a stretch on your part. Show isn’t usually about politics. She comes across as a screeching idiot to me most the time to me. Beck, no arguing with you there. But at least he admits it, unlike MSNBC when it comes to Olby and Matthews.
