A 30-year-old lawsuit that never reached the courts is news, but Obama’s long-time relationship with Reverend Wright — who Obama honored in his book “The Audacity Of Hope,” chose to perform his marriage, and chose to baptize his children, who he repeatedly singled out as a great influence, whose church Obama attended for years — is irrelevant. Obama’s relationship with unrepentant terrorists Bill Ayers and Bernadette Dohrn is also off-limits. Obama’s ties to Tony Rezko and Jack Abramoff’s firms are in the past. One of Obama’s first choices for his vice-presidential search committee was James Johnson, who played a role in the current subprime mortgage mess. Another close Obama ally is Massachusetts Governor Deval Patrick, who sat on the board of Countrywide, another contributor to that mess. And his last director of Muslim Outreach “resigned” after it came out that the guy had close ties to some folks who had raised money for Hamas.

Those are all unworthy of discussion and attention, but these two old lawsuits that never made it to the courts are worth discussing? I understand you’re a partisan hack, Oliver, but need you be THIS transparent?
