Most of the people that sneak in here aren’t forced to assimilate because of huge enclaves where loyalties aren’t to the stars and stripes, but to which ever nation those said people are from. Don’t believe me? Take your ass on down to parts of Texas, S. Florida, Arizona, New Mexico, and California, and you’ll see what I mean. Our immigration policy is national suicide, regardless of how many smartass comments you make.

Take heart McCann, America has always been that way. When my Polish ancestors came to this country over 100 years ago they collected with other Polish immigrants in enclaves where everyone spoke Polish, hung around the Polish run grocery stores and bitched in Polish about how there was no work for Polish speaking people. My Irish ancestors had similar stories. My German ancestors ditto. It takes time but they do assimilate.
