Finally! After reading all the excuses (maybe Obama is playing rope-a-dope? maybe he’s stranded on the “high road?”), it’s good to see something with SAND.
John McCain’s campaign is run by Washington lobbyists.
What is position on energy? Whatever the oil companies tell him it is.
What is McCain’s position on health care? Whatever the insurance industry tells him it is.
What is McCain’s position on anything? Whatever his lobbyist/advisers tell him it should be.
He sure is popular with someone.
maybe Obama is playing rope-a-dope?
I’ve never understood what that means.

Subject to change without notice, your mileage may vary.
I am kinda glad they didn’t use any of his many appearances on the Daily Show, though.
Another Obama Commercial: Another reference to John McCain being old.
The “Politics of Hope” everyone…
Duros62 – “Rope-a-dope” refers to Muhammad Ali’s strategy against George Foreman during the famous “Rumble in the Jungle”–Ali backed himself up against the ropes and absorbed as many blows as Foreman could muster…which ultimately tired Foreman out, and left him vulnerable to Ali’s successful counterattack.
I presume that the political equivalent would be to not respond to the flurry of small attack ads, saving up one’s resources in an attempt to deliver a knockout response when the opponent has nothing left to add.
(If you actually knew what “rope-a-dope” was and were being sardonic, my apologies.)
So Farris, are you playing the “age card” now? If the word “old” appears anywhere in the vicinity of John McCain (even when referring to his actions and ideas, not his physical age), then it translates to “Obama calls McCain old”?

Not at all. Thanks for clearing that up for me.
Was ‘billions for oil/drug companies and nothing for you’ really appropriate? May as well say ‘McCain is eeevil and I am good.’
Somebody should win an editing award for the cut from talk shows-to-Bush’s head kiss though. Effective.
“No soup for you!”
