If you’re watching the Olympics, you just saw Jason Lezak anchor an awesome come by behind victory for the men in the 4×100 Freestyle swimming event. Awe-some.
And they beat some French trashtalkers.

Lezak swam the final leg in 46 seconds flat – that is simply mind-numbing. Won’t go down in the record books, since it wasn’t an individual event, but note that the current WR in the 100 free (long course) is 47.50.
Keeps Phelps’ dream of 8 golds alive – also a heady “fark you” to a very pretentious French team.

Lezak pulled off a heroic feat. Let us celebrate that without any junior campain staffer trying to find a way to push their political views. I don’t think you are going to swing some undecided voter in this section, so let us enjoy the great sport moment.
