    I think this is a non-news story. Two guys talking about the physical and emotional toll of running for political office takes on candidates and the absurd expectations on the part of the electorate and press that the candidates and office holders exhibit expertise on things they could not possibly know that much about.

    Obama certainly didn’t say anything to embarrass himself, which is a bit of a story compared to Bush. But I didn’t read anything there that I thought was worthy of the evening news.

    However, I do think it is worth noting that he talks the same when he’s in front of the camera then when he thinks he is not being recorded.
