As a native Iowan who has lived along the Gulf Coast for the last 20 years, I can say that it is about time that somebody called out this bullshit!
As a Katrina refugee, I agree. This is probably the most despicable thing I’ve read this year. To think that families are still having trouble getting their lives together after such a horrific tragedy and all these folks can do is smear their image with outdated media propaganda and just plain hate.
