  2. Duros62 says:

Donated yesterday for the 3rd time.

I have a serious feeling that his donations in the wake of his total failure in leadership over the FISA issue. Just exactly how deep is the change he is offering this country, anyway?

  4. Retired Catholic says:

Oops. Dropped the wrong copy in my post. I meant to say that I expect his donations to begin dropping in the wake of his total failure in leadership over the FISA issue.

On a side note, Lou Dobbs think Bush should be impeached for the tainted tomato outbreak. I’m sure there’s a least one right-win tard here who will defend this massive failure in food safety.

Of everything that’s happened and everything we now know over the last 7 years, it’s chicken shit-covered tomatoes that Lou Dobbs think should get him impeached.

    Unbelievable.

Well, to Retired Catholic…. yup, i’m not giving him any more money unless i see some leadership on that issue. Sure, it’s just one issue, but that’s where it ends for me. I have given twice myself, but no more. Corporatism IS the issue now. He is proving himself corporatist, which i knew; but i thought he might be a reluctant progressive, a la Roosevelt. Well, not quite. He is either beholden to the corporations or to the people, and he is proving now what he is in specific ways. How is he different than McCain again? To me, other issues are important, but window dressing compared to the questions of business and Democracy, or what you might want to call the burgeoning fascism in America. Window Dressing…..

  8. Duros62 says:

Settle down, the Senate meets on this this week. He has already said he opposed immunity. Wait and see.

  9. Sean D. Martin says:

    Wait and see.

No, be more active than that. If you want Obama (or Dodd or …) to do whatever they can to defeat this offensive bill, they you need to do whatever you can to make sure they know that’s what you want.

Wait and see and trust that those in power will do the right thing without prompting? Yeah, how’s that been workin’ for ya?

  10. funknjunk says:

I do see that my tone may be misinterpreted here. I do have a wait and see attitude, but I let his campaign know that he will get not money from me if this thing goes through. He had/has the power to stop it, it’s just that simple. The nominee IS the party at this point in time, and if he asked, they would not be pushing this bill onto the floor…. is he asking?
