    Russell T Davies has stepped down from the captains chair on Dr. Who. Happened about a month ago.
    If you never saw “Queer as Folk” penned by Davies about 10 years ago, I would understand how one might not realise just what a talent this guy has. Warning, there are some graphic scenes. There’s a scene (backed by a song called “Hold that sucker down”), the writing of which I have rarely enjoyed so much (I rank it with the chess scene in “The Wire” season 1 – a show which also features Aidan Gillen).
