Fox News Speaks About “Baby Mama”

The weasel words you would expect from the GOP’s cable network.

“A producer on the program exercised poor judgment in using this chyron during the segment,” Fox’s Senior Vice President of Programming Bill Shine said in a statement to Politico.

I mean, it ain’t like this is a pattern.

And what punishment was meted out for this?

I’m thinking it was a raise.

    Poor judgment? There’s an understatement.

This producer should be fired. It’s as simple as that (and to preempt expected criticism from trolls, yes, I believe that everyone at CBS involved in Rathergate should have been fired too).

So maybe this IS the Republican campaign strategy: the rain of crap, the plague of racist toads. The “terrorist” fist bump, “Baby Mamma,” the (still!) viral rumor that Obama is a Muslim, how Michelle isn’t “proud” of her country, etc. etc. McCain’s articulation of policy isn’t what he’s counting on, but the racial slurs on Fox and under cover that he says he’s helpless to “referee.”

Sigh. Get out the flyswatters. Or bug zappers. This is going to be a real drag.
