Bobby Jindal: The Exorcist

The power of blog compels you. The power of blog compels you.

Of course, if McCain picks Jindal as his running mate, who will protect Louisiana from the zombies?

People don’t think these things through.

  2. Mold says:

The Republicans looked throughout the fields where the darkies toiled and found one with the correct subservience and deferential attitude. “Look”, they cried, “we are not the party of slaveowners and loony white aristocracy. We are equal opportunity. We are true believers in merit.” Too bad Bobby’s next visit to the country club will be to clean the toilets and hand out towels. After all, he’s not a member.

    1) While I won’t make a comment about who is a “darkie” and who isn’t under the American caste system, it may be worth noting that Jindal is primarily of Indian (i.e. South Asian) heritage.

    2) There are plenty of voodoo practitioners in Louisiana to handle the exorcisms.

Even Satan knowns not to mess with Bobby Jindal!!! Still, he’s got work left to do cleaning up the gigantic messes that Long, Edwards, and Blanco have created. 2016 will be his for the taking.

I’d never known that much about Gov. Jindal, but the party of Mike Huckabee and Jim Inhofe is no stranger to unusual religious views.

Sen. McCain selecting him would certainly solve any problems he had with the conservative base. This cat makes Attila the Hun look like Ted Kennedy.

If a Democratic governor and possible VP choice had participated in an “exorcism” and, showing no embarrasment about this participation, even wrote about it, I bet SaveFarris would be writing a post that would amount to “Look at the kook! Look at the kook!”

    Mold,
That is a very jaded view, but not uncommon. The argument can (and has) be made that Democrats have been standing on the backs of black voters for 40 years, and it would seem nothing gets better, but they keep sucessfuly demonizing and blaming the right as if we all think that non-whites are sub human. Any non-WASP (such as me) who is not a liberal is ostracized by our fellows on the left. Think about the last time you heard words like “Uncle Tom” and “House Slave”.

On other topics, Jindal is fairly nuts, very, very smart, but definitely in Huckabee land.

And think about the 8 trillion times that Republicans and conservatives use words like “leaving the Democratic plantation” or “leaving the liberal plantion” in the context of their desire to see African-Americans go from liberal Democrats to conservative Republicans. Let’s not pretend offensive rhetoric regarding the partisan and ideological allegiances of African-Americans is just coming from one side of the political aisle.

I am not, in fact I was saying just the opposite.

I was pointing out that some Dems have given African-Americans a raw deal WRT real political power, and Republicans have not done enough to purge racist POS’ from our party. I reject people like Mold who make blanket statements about my ideology like we are all some sort of backwoods crypto-rascists.

Squid Shark, with all due respect, I saw nothing on your first post in this thread that criticized Republicans on this issue. You only criticized Democrats and the left.

    Daniel,
I think the people on this board have made enough generalizations of the right side to have that covered. I was offering counterpoint.

You’re not completely wrong, Squid, but I’d counter that something as historic as Obama’s presumptive nomination was more likely going to happen from the Democratic side of the aisle than from that of the Republicans.

Also, Jindal is not a “darkie.” As George Allen specified, Jindal is a “macaca.”

I would disagree, many of our “house slaves” are actually quite well liked by the electorate. Michael Steele is one of them and he will likely appear on a ticket at some point.

Sec. of State Rice is also still very popular with the party faithful.

J.C. Watts is very likable, I would say he is the Republican answer to Sen Obama. But he is retired for good methinks.

I guess if Republicans really cared about blacks, they wouldn’t target them at the polls so often, trying to deny them the vote.
