    Spike Lee’s an idiot? C’mon Oliver get real. Did you actually read what Spike said or are you just going for shock value here? Spike was right on target with his comments, and it’s the same with almost every World War II war film; you just never see the Black men shown anywhere. This is highly insulting to those vets. I know, my father is one of them. A Red Ball Express Driver who earned campaign medals in North Africa and the European Theater of Operations. Yeah, so it’s a little insulting.

    Regarding who’s the better film maker, that’s a matter of opinion. Both have made equally important marks on the industry, but Spike Lee has done more to tell the stories of Black people on screen than pretty much anyone, so please send more idiots just like him.
