AP Does RNC Oppo Work

Lacking any news, the AP writes up an article on people who might “complicate” Obama’s campaign. Why don’t they just reprint the releases from the McCain camp and skip the pretense?

    They did offer a scant few words on the people who might complicate Mr. McCain’s campaign:

    Republican John McCain has his own potential problem people whom Democrats may try to exploit. In some cases, they have been for years.

    For example, there’s Charles Keating Jr., a wealthy savings and loan executive from Arizona who was the focus of a congressional ethics investigation in which McCain was ensnared in the 1980s. Rick Davis and Charlie Black, two men in the inner circle of McCain’s campaign, are former lobbyists – hardly a crime but still fodder for critics who want to undermine McCain’s self-portrayal as a senator fighting to lessen big money’s influence on politics.”

    I keep thinking there’s somebody else who should have been on this list, but I can’t remember…Republican…high-ranking elected official…

    The AP is bullshit. When the Democrats take over the White House, they should cut the organization off. Give them zero access and starve them.

    Lieberman, in my opinion, should be considered as someone who is going to “complicate” McCain’s opinion, considering that the former, a head McCain cheerleader and surrogate, is going to be sharing the same stage with Hideous Hagee.
