    I am not for liberal purity amongst Democrats but when you are actively attacking a member of your own party? And until Democrats disown him and label him and “independant” and don’t caucus with him, then he is sadly tied to our party.

    Actually the Dems did disown Lieberman when he lost the primary. He ran and won as an independent and like Bernie Sanders he caucuses with the Dems. But unlike Sanders, he is a tool.

    SaveFarris: Is exactly how did I fantasize about anyone being shot? Obama had him up against a wall and apparently lectured him. And I’m for that. Quit being even dumber than usual.

    That was the most mild comment from the link you posted. The other comments had people shooting at a scarecrow caricature of Obama….which represents much more (actually about a 100 times more) of a fantasy of shooting the Illinois senator than Oliver’s comments represent a fantasy of shooting Joey “I can’t wait to share the same stage as Hideous Hagee” Lieberman. Quite a stretch, sir.

    Besides, didn’t Joe call himself an Independent? He ran on the Connecticut for Lieberman ticket. Because, God forbid, it should work the other way ’round (Lieberman for Connecticut.)

    Farris, perhaps you should check up on the link Ollie provided and realize that the headline has NOTHING to do with gun violence or fantasies of same.
