    From the chart it looks like there have been more Dems than Repubs for as long as they’ve been tracking it (6 years?). Didn’t stop the Repubs from ruling for most of that time, tho.

    Democrats: More people like us, more people agree with us, more people are us. We just suck at winning.

    Yes, but whats of note is the GOP number. It tracks with the Dems until 2006, at which point it plummets. Then the Dem number takes off.
