Zero hour has passed and there’s still no video link on his web site. Now Flowbee’s got his own “Why’d he” problem to deal with.

Screw the “whitey” thing. I’m curious to know the answer.
Typical… if the tape exists, it’s her saying “Why’d he” and what Larry and others heard was “Whitey”… pathetic. They should be ashamed, but they don’t know the meaning of the word.
This primary cycle has destroyed (or abetted the destruction of) a lot of reputations in the blogosphere and exposed some people’s ugly hidden character faults.
I don’t think that it’s a “why’d he/whitey” confusion. I think it’s just sheer and utter bullshit. It’s the equivalent of the “October Surprise” from 1988, or Jason Leopold’s “Karl Rove has been secretly indicted” — all smoke, no fire.
The only thing that makes even the slightest sense is that Larry Johnson heard (fifth-hand or even further removed) that such a tape existed, and figured if he talked about having it, he might smoke out the actual tape, as the possessor would think they better get it out before Johnson scooped him.
And since it hasn’t come out yet, I think it’s safe to assume no such tape exists.
And Johnson has just flushed any credibility he might have ever had and — if there’s any justice — any he might ever have with this.

Apparantly this why’d vs whitey thing was first made up by a guy on a Fark.com thread. Guess the republican and pro-Hillary blogs pounced on it a little too quick without checking where it originated.

Here’s whats gonna happen, the tape is supposedly a speech Michelle made concerning Bush et al. regarding Katrina. In it she says “Why’d he…” several times, which given the quality of the audio, sounds like “whitey”. And so will begin the great tin-foil hat of bonanza of the summer of ‘08
