After All These Years, Power Line Still Brings The Dumb

John “Hindrocket” Hinderaker keeps the average low
This morning, the editorial board of the Washington Post, in my view the most respectable voice of the Democratic Party, acknowledged the surge’s success and urged Obama to re-think his Iraq policy.
The Washington Post was, editorially, the most hawkish newspaper in the country. They regularly support the war and chide Democrats for moving to end it. So, in the eyes of Power Line, who are still looking for who really wrote the Republican’s Terri Schiavo memo, this is a Democratic newspaper.

Wingnuts, especially ones as vile as Hinderaker, have long held that the WaPo and the NYT are “far left” newspapers. You can hear ‘em say it every day on every goddamn stupid wingnut talk radio show throughout the country. They’re just creating their own reality, and there’s really no rational way of arguing against it.
More accurately, they’re being hacks. They and other right-wingers pull out this ploy pretty regularly, even though they know the WaPo editorial board has been extremely hawkish and often right-wing. (They also repeated BS about Plamegate disproven by their own paper!)
