    I’d boycott Dunkin Donuts just for being such huge wimps but I’m addicted to their coffee and there’s one a block away from me so it’s just too close to boycott.

    Dan, don’t think it was paisley, but it doesn’t matter – the fact was that some wingnuts saw a black and white patterned scarf and launched into that insane accusation and drive…

    Guess things are pretty gloomy over in Rightwing land… and old habits die hard so they had to gin up some (faux) outrage over something.

    It’d be funny if Dunkin’ Donuts hadn’t caved… now it’s just pathetic

    I think it’s funny that Malkin can’t go to Starbucks because of their, what, immigration policies? Now she can’t go to DD because of “intifada chic (sic)”.

    Clearly, she should just lay off the coffee altogether.

    The first statement about this nonsense by Dunkin’ said it was paisley. Perhaps that was mistaken, but that was the official position a few days ago.

    Why do I have any space in my brain devoted to this? Ugh.

    Maybe we should just boycott anything that has to do with anything. It can get dangerous though…last month I almost boycotted myself. That was a close one.

    Actually, it’s not because the scarf is “terrorist garb” it’s because it’s reminiscent of Palestinians… you know, those people who lived in what is now Israel before a bunch of Europeans and Russians with a book of myths and fables decided their religion gave then the right to move in and kick everybody else out.
