i can’t believe she’s pushing her efforts this far! i just can’t … i thought she was a democrat!

In spite of whatever “plausible deniability” she will claim due to her vague phrasing in this statement, anyone who looks at it for more than a nanosecond will realize that she is (not so) subtly trying to send a message to voters that they should vote for her because, well, hey, there’s a lot of crazy racist people out there, and one of them might get upset and go off on the other candidate…

The nice way that I like to put it is that I am not a fan of dynastic politics.

The really mean, nasty way that I could put it is…well, I won’t.

Let’s just say that with this idiocy she shut the door on an Obama/Clinton ticket.

bill clinton tied up the nomination after the New York primary in EARLY APRIL. his only remaining opponent (after Tsongas dropped out) was Gov. Jerry Brown who was mathematically eliminated months before. bill tied up the nomination in APRIL. that’s a fact. hilary’s version of reality is just a lie.

back in the day, the primaries didn’t start until February…so using 1968’s primary play as historical evidence to stay in the campaign is also very misleading.

with every passing day, hilary sinks to a new low. i think hilary’s assassination comment was more freudian slip than it was badly chosen words. i honestly believe that hilary would welcome such tragic events, and her invocation of bobby kennedy’s shooting in june of ‘68 as proof that she still has a chance is just downright disturbing.

her comments are more damning than huckabee’s recent NRA commentary/joke. between huckabee and clinton (and some of their supporters) you can just see the racism oozing out of their pores. it’s not as direct as it may have been 20 or 30 years ago, but even a blind man can clearly see that this campaign season is bringing certain politician’s true hidden personality traits front and center.

you know if it wasn’t for barack obama, we’d still love hilary and consider huckabee just sort of a dorky arkansas religiously tempered dude. instead, now we see them as they really are: tired, groveling and completely out of touch.

Kennedy Jr., who has endorsed Mrs. Clinton, defended her remarks in a telephone interview Friday evening. “I’ve heard her make that argument before,” Mr. Kennedy said, speaking on his cell phone as he drove to the family compound in Hyannis for the holiday weekend. “It sounds like she was invoking a familiar historical circumstance in support of her argument for continuing her campaign.”

As an ardent supporter of Barak Obama I only have on thing to say:
If the son of RFK does not have a problem with her comments and if Obama does not have a problem with it, IMHO, it’s time for the hyperventilating to stop on both sides. After all this is Memorial Day weekend. Over 4000 of our brave American troops have died in a needless war in Iraq, which I want to STOP NOW!

Mr. Kennedy said he has been traveling and had not seen the video or read Mrs. Clinton’s comments, but said his support of Mrs. Clinton has not wavered.

But he added that the protracted fight for the Democratic nomination would only last “two more weeks.”

“The candidate’s going to emerge within the next two weeks, and the party will get behind them,” Mr. Kennedy said.

Someone is clearly funneling Hillary supporters into every blog that makes a negative comment against her.

Goodness! Could the fact that Lord Kos, over at The Obama 527 Formerly Known As The Kos Community, front-paged this post have anything to do with this?

Seriously, do these people think they are being subtle? This blog never gets 70 comments, and neither do half of the other blogs they have invaded.

Time for a lot of people to apologize to Samantha Power.

He’s very classy to let her implode like this. Maybe he’ll even bail her out tomorrow when the media asks him (relentlessly, I would imagine) for his reaction to this.

But she’s still toast. It would be nice if someone close to her campaign told her to quit the race now.
