I know John McCain’s campaign is filled to the brim with lobbyists who know nothng of the real America as they shuttle between their tony Georgetown mansions and their cushy K street offices, but the idea that McCain is going to run as the pro-NAFTA candidate is mighty stupid. Even among people inclined to be pro-trade (like me), it’s not as if NAFTA is something to go dancing in the streets for. And he’s going to go to places like Michigan with that message? Okay.
Go for it, Johnny. More war; fewer jobs; don’t know nuthin’ ’bout no economy; sick? suck it up, nancy-boy; what jobs we have left we can sell to Mexico.
