McCain Trying To Deal With His Campaign’s Lobbyist Problem

After stories have come out about how some of McCain’s top campaign staff has done side work in the service of international tyrants, they’re just now – at least they say they are – doing a review of just who on their staff is connected with unsavory characters.

The major issue they hope to attack Sen. Obama with is “experience”, and even though Bush/Cheney shows us experience is bupkiss without common sense, wouldn’t an experienced campaign know better than to pack itself to the gills with lobbyists? Especially lobbyists who have worked as apologists for international tyrants? Yet they choose now, after McCain is the nominee, to do actual vetting.
