I Love Crazy

This is like your middle school teacher, the one who you liked, weaving a conspiracy theory. His voice and tone is so soothing, you want to believe the nonsense. I want to believe.

I’m glad we don’t pick presidents by page views.
Monkey washing cat for prez 2008!
Duros, I expect you to honor President Paris Hilton and Vice President Britney Spears as much as any other leaders of the free world.
Pretty dumb stuff.
But what happens if you take out all the hits where somebody is making fun of Ron Paul, huh? Bet your numbers don’t look so good then, do they Conspiracy Boy?
He seems to have neglected the idea that there’s a difference between page views and page views from unique addresses. I suspect that the large numbers of views come from a small number of very enthusiastic Paul fans.
Whatever else, his supporters ARE dedicated.
He keeps saying the fact Paul had more search hits than Obama means Paul is more “popular” and is therefore to one people actually favor.
You can’t possibly support that conclusion from the data shown.
As Quaker notes, just because Paul’s name appears in a search doesn’t mean it’s a favorable one.
Check Obama vs Madonna. Madonna has next to no news coverage at all and yet he gets more search hits than Obama right up to the very tail end of 2007. With no news coverage! Clearly, Madonna is far more popular than Obama and Madonna is who people really want for president.
trying again: Obama vs Madonna

That’s hot.
This guy also doesn’t understand the difference between correlation and causation. I have googled Ron Paul because I heard he did or said something really dumb and outrageous and I just wanted to take a look. A don’t google Obama because I have his site bookmarked.
Duh
