Some conservative out of the blue starts IMing me today, arguing with me about immigration and affirmative action. He argues with me that white people are downtrodden and discriminated against and that it’s right for conservatives are right to be anti-immigration in order to preserve white majority.
Then he starts telling me that its scientifically proven that blacks are the dumbest race.
That’s when I gave him a link and said goodbye. Sorry, cons, I call conservative bigots by their proper name – bigots – when they act like bigots.

I have heard this tripe about inferior black brains in college. Of course my alma matta is not a particularly forward thinking or hold blacks in high esteem historically.(University of Alabama.) What shocks the bigots most, as a white male myself, is to let them know they are bigots and you don’t have a secret friend who shares your racist views.

One reason why I have a certain amount more respect for those who post with their real names. It’s not like they are any greater target for someone who wants to retaliate in the real world, so use of a handle isn’t really for greater safety. Many use it to be greater assholes.

While reading the link, I was reminded of “The Golden Door.” (An independent movie I reviewed not too long ago.) In it, Italian immigrants were given a series of I.Q. tests, including a spacial test where you are supposed to take all of the flat pieces and figure out how to fit them together to form a square. The father took them and made a little house and a shed. It was clearly the wrong answer, but it was a brilliant wrong answer.
Thinking differently doesn’t mean you are stupid.
However, the person that claimed blacks were genetically inferior was clearly stupid.
