Gore/Turner 2000

On CNN, Donna Brazille just joked that when Al Gore came to her about vice presidential running mates her first thought was Tina Turner. Seriously though, this would have been a much better choice than Joe Lieberman. Turner is world famous personality with cross-generational appeal. And she would have, even at her age, been the most attractive veep we would ever have. Oh, what could have been.

Can you imagine how much more fun State dinners would be? And how cool it would be for her to have constructed a Thunderdome on the lawn? Two congresscritters go in. One comes out.

(And is that Marty Van Buren or Peter Boyle?)
