The Hysterical McCain Campaign
Tweet
On CNN today Barack Obama discussed how McCain, the senior senator from Arizona, has totally lost his bearings as he panders to the far right in his quest for the presidency and the McCain campaign sent out what has to be a historically histrionic memo.

Did Wolfie disclose that he used to be a lobbyist for AIPAC by any chance?
Obviously, the McCain camp thinks the age thing is going to be a big deal, otherwise, why hit back so hard on a totally innocuous statement?
At the same time, the logical implications of McCain’s “100 years” comment, and I’m including the qualifier he added about US casualties, is plenty of evidence that he’s losing his bearings trying to pander to the far right while trying to appeal to middle of the road voters.
I guess it’s only fair; the republicans think the democrats are going to see racism behind every statement, why shouldn’t the democrats think the republicans are going to see ageism behind every statement?
And which is more important?
Context pandering, statement: McCain loses his bearings.
Response: he’s attacking the old!
Easier to just avoid responding to the pandering and flip flopping altogether.
Well, even if Obama’s actual words didn’t call attention to McCain’s age, the McCain campaign’s response certainly will.
Good work, Team McCain!
McCain has lost his bearings or he has been a phony all along. Mr Straigt Tallk has turned into Snidley McCain. He makes cheapshot remarks and then laughs about it like it was a joke. He did the same thing to Ron Paul in the republican debates.
When Obama calls him on his cheap shot about Hamas and McCain’s campaign makes a big deal about it somehow being an attack on his age. That’s because he got caught making a cheap personal attack, something Mr Straigt Talk “never” does so they have to change the subject quickly. Wolf Blitzer of CNN was more than happy to assist.
Yes, but Joe Lieberman personally checked his bearings.
Took ‘em out, cleaned them, repacked them with grease and reinstalled them. They should be good for another 20,000 miles or so.
