Barack Obama Is The Democratic Nominee For President

You know it. I know it. Obama knows it. And maybe even Clinton knows it. Now the superdelegates need to ratify the results of the primaries and on to the general election and the (knock on wood) exile of the Republican party and the conservative movement from our government.

Check out Americablog, peeps. Wesley Clark apparently lobbed a phone call to Hillary this evening to get her to drop out.

    I hope that’s true.

  2. merl says:

The only reason I have to vote for Obama is the alternative. Well, at least he gives pretty speeches.

  3. Vanessa says:

I’ve known it for a while.

  4. SpiderJ says:

I look forward to Obama surprising you, merl.

  5. revenantive says:

You wouldn’t know that Clinton is losing by looking at her campaign schedule today. She’s out campaigning in West Virginia.

Candy Crawley, ever the clinton apologist, was on TV this morning saying Hilary still has ‘a chance’…

Hilary Clinton is going to have to beaten, literally, into submission.

    I can’t stand her.

  6. Steve LaBonne says:

Just visualize Barack Obama taking the oath of office. That’ll make you feel better in a hurry.

  7. Cali Tejano says:

Hillary loaned her campaign $6.2 million last month. I wonder how much of that went toward paying Mark Penn? LOL

I wonder how much of that went toward paying him to STFU.

I caught just a minute of her speech last night, probably th most important part, where she said she would support the democratic nominee for President. And…you know, hopes Obama feels the same. A harbinger, perhaps?

Also, merl, like so many others you miss the point of his “pretty speeches.” They’re only empty rhetoric if you refuse to listen to what they actually are, which is a call to action.

The world’s best leaders, historically, have had an ability to inspire, which most often came through in their “pretty speeches.” Clinton has some ability to inspire, but Obama trumps her on this front every time.

  10. Clinton has a chance in the way I have a chance of taking Beyonce and Jessica Alba home with me tonight. There’s always a “chance” of stuff happening.

  11. White Whale says:

“So what are my chances, like one in a hundred?”

“No, more like one in a million”

“So, your saying there is a chance!!!”

I thought it would be fitting to quote Dumb and Dumber to put into context Hilary’s campain outlook.

    Great movie, by the way.

Hey, you know what? There’s a whole web site just filled with Obama’s accomplishments.

It’s called Google. You should check it out sometime.
