Democrats Are Democrats, No Matter The Clinton Spin

The NY Times mainstreams some common knowledge among political observers.
Yet for all of her primary night celebrations in the populous states, exit polling and independent political analysts offer evidence that Mr. Obama could do just as well as Mrs. Clinton among blocs of voters with whom he now runs behind. Obama advisers say he also appears well-positioned to win swing states and believe he would have a strong shot at winning traditional Republican states like Virginia.
According to surveys of Pennsylvania voters leaving the polls on Tuesday, Mr. Obama would draw majorities of support from lower-income voters and less-educated ones — just as Mrs. Clinton would against Mr. McCain, even though those voters have favored her over Mr. Obama in the primaries.

I really don’t think any Repub has a chance of being elected President for at least the next 12 years.
The only one who would have a chance was John McCain, however he has forever married himself to the Bush policies of the Iraq War and tax breaks for the wealthiest Americans while exploding the National Debt.
That will make it hard for the republicans to win under the present circumstances, no matter how they spin it. It is no wonder then that they are already trotting out the Jeremiah Wright ads disguised as ads for another candidate before the NC primary.
TX Liberal:
I want to know when the TradMed starts asking McBush about John Hagee, or any of the other fundie preachers he jumps in bed with. Did Jerry Falwell serve in the Marines or Navy(Wright served in both)? Was Jerry Falwell assigned to the medical team that was in charge of keeping LBJ healthy when he was president(Yes, Wright was a medical officer in the service)? I wonder why Obama doesn’t bring that up. He shouldn’t have to disown Wright. The real America haters are Pat Robertson, Falwell and John Hagee, not Rev. Wright.
