My main man is of course at the center of it all

Speaking of whom, have you seen the <a href="http://www.youtube.com/profile_videos?p=r&user=ItsJustSomeRandomGuy&page=2".Marvel / DC series by JustSomeRandomGuy? Starts out as very amusing take offs on the Mac vs PC television commercials, but follow the After Hours arc and you get one of the best stories with your main man of the past year. (Sags a bit in the middle, but kick ass ending.)

Behind TV Analysts, Pentagon’s Hidden Hand
"Those business relationships are hardly ever disclosed to the viewers, and sometimes not even to the networks themselves."

Of course, knowing whether a spokesperson has other ties is something the networks should be making sure they know. But that would require them to, y'know, actually ask questions and act like responsible journalists.
