Petulant Republicans On Parade: Joe Scarborough
Tweet
Scarborough tries to cut off Rachel Maddow, unlike so many other liberals in the media, Maddow doesn’t let him get away with it and in retaliation Scarborough walks off the set. It’s the schoolyard bully you give a good whack in the nose, folks.

Taking his ball and going home.
Probably looking for another intern to take his frustrations out on…
They’ve posted an update: “Joe didn’t walk off. He chose not to participate in the final couple of minutes of the discussion”
So, y’know, he didn’t go away. He just chose not to stay.
And Oceania has always been at war with Eastasia.
“Taking his ball and going home.”
No, Maddow has bigger balls so he had to go home.
“Joe didn’t walk off. He chose not to participate in the final couple of minutes of the discussion.”
In other words, he walked off.
They love to pretend to be tough guys don’t they? In reality they are the biggest bunch of WATBs I’ve ever seen.
Don’t little kids usually go off in a corner to cry after getting spanked?
Merl:
You are 100% correct. And JoeScar isn’t the only one. George S. is a WATB too. Big time.
I heart Rachael Maddow. Thanks f***ing God we FINALLY have an intelligent, well-spoken and though-provoking advocate for Democrats on television.
if a Democrat found a dead intern the media wouldn’t shup up about it but if a Republican finds one they get a 5 year wingnut welfare cable news job
Isn’t this the second time recently that she has kicked his butt for him on the teevee?
Scarborough: “I don’t mean to be condescending but…”
Bwaha!
Yeah, loved Rachel’s face when he said that.
“If a Democrat found a dead intern the media wouldn’t shut up about it but if a Republican finds one they get a 5 7ear wingnut welfare cable news job.”
I am no fan of Joe Scarborough, but what is this “dead intern” business?
From watching him for months on Morning Joe, Scarborough is an insecure person with simplistic views and poor impulse control who gets his feathers ruffled easily on his own show when guests or co-hosts outshine him. He interrupts people so often thatone staffer uses an air horn to honk at him each time and his co-hosts constantly complain about his rudeness. When co-host Mika wins a point, he either walks off the set or sarcastically tries to insult her. He gets away with this childish behavior because he’s the host, although probably not for long as the show’s ratings are horrible. I think Joe gets frustrated as he seems not to grasp the more subtle/thoughtful points in a discussion — ala not getting Rachel’s point about why should McCain get a pass from muck-racking.
daniel rotter:
“On July 20, 2001, one of Scarborough’s aides died after hitting her head on a desk when she fainted while alone in Scarborough’s Fort Walton Beach office.[11] According to Scarborough, soon after her death allegations “spread all over the Internet” that he had been involved,[12] although there was no foul play. In 2003, he joked about the incident with Don Imus on Imus’ radio program[13] and, in 2004, it was the subject of a public spat between Scarborough and filmmaker Michael Moore.[14] Moore accused Scarborough of wrongdoing, even though Scarborough was in his Washington, DC, office at the time of his aide’s death.”
Note: taken verbatim from his page on Wikipedia, so take it with the appropriate amount of salt.

As Matthews would say, “HA!”
Please pass that on to Rachel Maddow. Perhaps she could borrow it next time.
It’s nice to see Harold Ford again.
I don’t believe that Scarborough had anything to do with his intern’s death…but he “joked about the incident”? Classy guy.
No, I don’t believe Scarborough had anything to do with the death, either. He was in Washington, DC, when she died in Florida and there’s no evidence he had any sort of personal relationship with her. He was never a suspect in her death. So I would rather move on and judge him by what he does on his TV show. Scarborough tried to laugh it off when Imus rather nastily brought it up on his show.
That being said, Joe got upset because he couldn’t push Rachel around like he does Mika. He’s an insecure man who’s afraid of tough, smart women. Rachel rocks!
