Great stuff! But why limit it to the debate? Someone should make a more comprehensive version with all the dumb pundits included. Can we can Pumpkinhead version?

I have this one at my site, LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE IT!!!!!!!!

I just got BANNED at the Huffington Post for commenting on “ABC’s mix of jive-ass wankery” during the stupid and pointless debate.”

I’ve NEVER been banned from a political website, ever. This is the first time; I don’t know if I should feel embarrassed or proud.

Gee, was it something I said?

Could they possibly have taken my threat to burn Mickey Mouse in effigy seriously? Help a girl out here, I shall award a “virtual cookie” to the person who can identify the offending post: http://www.huffingtonpost.com/users/profile/The Hedonistic Pleasureseeker

You’ve never been banned at a political site? Try having a mild disagreement at Red State, they’ve banned me under 3 different user names and email, same at New Republic. Try defending Sen Clinton at America blog. You’ll be banned there too. It isn’t hard to get banned at some places.

Merl: I try to avoid freeper type blogs! You were probably banned because you used a big word and they got all confused and upset.

Here’s the thing that makes me go “hmmmmmm” at Huffpo: I’ve never exhibited any traditionally “bannable” behaviors, but here I am, banned. My snark is Wonkette-ish without being libelous. I even bleep my profanity!

Rather, the posts the moderators delete tend to be “open secrets” such as the undue influence of the REAL Axis of Weevils (CIA/NSA/Mossad/MI5/6) on the mainstream media. Social engineering, disinfo and such. It’s all a matter of public record, as I am just an avid reader, not a beltway insider, and so far as I can tell Vanity Fair, the Altantic, the Economist and the New Yorker are not classified documents. Whomever is doing the deleting over there has a vested interest in your not knowing a lot of things that go on in the slimy corridors of D.C. and NY. I dunno, maybe Dick Cheney suffers from insomnia and moonlights as an internet spook at Huffpo.

To improve any future debates, perhaps we should consider what was proposed at The Economist:

“One problem here is that it’s easy to conflate what voters think is important with what viewers will tune in for. A citizen may believe sincerely that, as the pollsters keep telling us, voters are most concerned about the economy, the war, rising energy prices, and health care. Given a choice between watching a serious discussion of those issues and clips of amusing gaffes, they may nevertheless prefer the latter. Certainly I’d rather watch “Battlestar Galactica” than a Brookings roundtable on oil prices, but that doesn’t mean ABC News should simply devote its hour to footage of Tricia Helfer in a low-cut dress. (Though they might raise the bar by letting her take over debate moderation duties.)”

What time is the Access Hollywood Democratic debate, hosted by Pat O’Brian?
Moderated by Paris Hilton and Andy Dick. There’s some riveting telebision!
Though, I’d pay money to see a debate on HBO.
