Trent Lott was a US senator for 18 years. Now in his new job as a lobbyist, he rode the Metro subway for the first time and he thinks that makes him a man of the people. Really.

    If the redneck SOB wants to impress somebody, he should take a Green Line train to somewhere in Anacostia and meet with the real people of the District.
